With over 30 years of clinical experience and as a chiropractic educator, Dr. Stants is a graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Honours Human Kinetics program, the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College’s Doctor of Chiropractic program and is a Fellow of the Canadian Chiropractic Specialty College of Physical and Occupational Rehabilitation. He also holds advanced certificates in both pain and wellness management. He is the Champlain BASE eConsultant for Spine and MSK Rehabilitation. He is a Certified Facilitator in the Champlain LHIN’s “Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Pain” program which is coordinated through the Bruyere Hospital.
Dr. Stants maintains an active practice providing evidenced-informed, patient-centred consultation, clinical rehabilitation and wellness management services for individuals with neuro-musculoskeletal and pain conditions.
He also provides independent defense and plaintiff opinions regarding entitlement to catastrophic impairment, medical/rehabilitation and disability benefits and on medicolegal issues such as malpractice and tort claims.
When not in clinical practice or spending time with his family, Dr. Stants can be found expanding his outdoor bushcraft and camping skills.
