Dr. Rich Raigoza, DC, B.Sc.
Doctor of Chiropractic, Owner
Dr. Rich Raigoza is a devoted Chiropractor passionate about optimizing patient recovery, prevention, and rehabilitation. His education includes Doctorate in Chiropractic, Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Cognitive Science, and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Rich is passionate about helping anyone at any stage of their life, but has a special interest in sports related injuries and the aging population.
He has been certified in various assessment and treatment protocols such as Athletic Movement Assessment and Functional Range Releasing Technique. Common treatment methods include spinal and extremity manipulation, acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, instrument-assisted therapy, and others. He is a strong believer that each person and their clinical presentation is unique and his wide range of techniques allows him to personalize treatments to each individual.
Dr. Rich has many years of experience in weight-lifting, mixed martial arts, and other sports. He is an on-site therapist for OPDL soccer league in the Ottawa region. Dr. Rich can provide care in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Christine Rad, DC, B.Kin
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Christine Rad provides evidence-informed manual therapy and acupuncture for athletes and families alike. She focuses on understanding the entire clinical picture to work with her patients to achieve their goals and live the life they desire. Her treatments will vary from person to person. She offers spinal & extremity manipulative therapy, acupuncture, soft tissue therapy (instrument assisted and myofascial release), concussion management and others.
Her education includes Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Toronto and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture. She is also an on-site therapist for the OPDL soccer league in the Ottawa region. She has a special interest in managing sport-related injuries, headache and concussion management, exercise therapy for arthritis management, and perinatal chiropractic care. Dr. Rad enjoys working with individuals on physical rehabilitation for better function, independence, and empowered living for all ages and demographics.
Growing up, she played elite soccer and performed around the world with her traditional Ukrainian dance ensemble. Currently, she enjoys exploring her new home here in Ottawa and spending time outdoors with her two huskies. Exploring the many green spaces Ottawa has to offer, trail running is a must for this trio. Dr. Christine is thrilled to be joining the OHPR team and is able to provide treatment in both English and Ukrainian.
Dr. Carlan Stants, DC
Dr. Stants is the Director of Assessment Services and a chiropractic specialist. He has over 20 years of clinical experience and spent 14 years as a professor of Orthopedics and Diagnosis at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He is also the current President and Chair of the Education Committee of the Canadian Chiropractic College of Rehabilitation Sciences. Dr. Stants is responsible for the three-year educational program for Chiropractic Rehabilitation Specialists in Canada. He remains an active lecturer and a frequent guest speaker at conferences.
Omar Sahraoui, MSc PT, PhD
Omar has 27 years of experience, specializing in fascial manipulation, mobilization and release, Mulligan technique, Mackenzie technique and cupping. Omar has a special interest in soccer and other sport injuries.
Dr. Jan Dorrell, ND
Dr. Dorrell is an honours graduate of Carleton University and the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario and is a well-recognized name in the natural health community in Ottawa. She has been a member of the Keenan Health Centre network for the past several years and is now part of our in-house team full-time.
Dr. Dorrell believes in health promotion through gentle, natural techniques in addition to lifestyle and nutrition. She leads an active lifestyle enjoying travel, hiking, camping, boating and time with her family and friends.
Jamie Emery, PT
Jamie Emery is a registered physiotherapist who successfully completed a Masters of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Ottawa in 2016. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University in 2013. Jamie has experience treating clients using both intensive care and neurological rehabilitation. Conditions she has treated include cardio-respiratory issues, orthopedic problems, and sports-related injuries. In addition to working evenings at Keenan Health Centre, she works at the Hampton Wellness Centre.
Jamie is passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life so they can return to the activities they love. She takes a very active approach to treating each of her patients, creating individualized programs and empowering each person to become involved in their own rehabilitation journey. Jamie is dedicated to pursuing post-graduate education courses and staying up to date on the latest evidence-based practice to provide the best possible care for her patients.
In her spare time, Jamie has been very involved in the tennis community in the Ottawa region over the last several years. She is a tennis player herself and enjoys living an active, healthy lifestyle. She also enjoys travelling, volunteering, reading and (of course) chocolate. Her goal is to establish a positive and welcoming environment in the clinic and to always greet you with a smile.
Liam Birkwood, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Liam Birkwood is a registered massage therapist who graduated from Algonquin College’s Massage Therapy program. Liam likes to help others live a stress-free, pain-free lifestyle, which is also one of the many benefits of massage therapy. His practice includes sports massage, injury rehabilitation and stress relief as well as other modalities. Liam is now a Graston technique provider and is incorporating this technique into his practice.
While his favourite sport to play is rugby, he is an avid and enthusiastic fan of all sports. Liam describes himself as approachable, open, and easy to talk to. He looks forward to meeting new people and making a positive difference in their lives!
Robyn MacRae, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Robyn’s education is founded on an in-depth understanding of anatomy. In 2009, she successfully completed her training as a registered massage therapist from L’Institut Kiné-Concept in Montreal. She is passionate about helping people overcome injury, pain and dysfunction to maintain a healthy state. Her treatments combine Swedish massage with trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage and stretching. She has a quiet, empathetic and calming presence that helps you relax while receiving the individualized care you need.
Robyn enjoys spending free time outdoors with her family—fishing, ATV-ing, swimming, hiking and skiing.
Corey Hazell, R.H.N.
Corey is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and a Certified Personal Trainer. He is passionate about health and fitness and finds fulfillment in helping clients with their goals. He does this at Keenan Health Centre by welcoming patients and assisting our practitioner team.
Corey enjoys being active whether it be playing hockey and football or going to the gym. He likes being in the kitchen, trying new recipes and he loves dogs.
Nicole Fodor, R.H.N.
Nicole is a registered holistic nutritionist and graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Although she is not currently practicing as a nutritionist, she is passionate about wellness and committed to helping others achieve their health goals. She does this at Keenan Health Centre by gently guiding our patients, assisting our practitioner team, and helping the clinic run smoothly. She enjoys her work and you are sure to see her with a smile on her face.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities. She can be found cycling (the better way to commute!), backpacking, camping, canoeing, hiking, diving, rock/ice climbing, snowboarding and back-country skiing. When she's not outdoors, she loves to cuddle with her cat, care for her plant babies, and experiment with various brews and kitchen concoctions.
