(Ottawa, Ontario) - All Ottawa-Gatineau residents can get health and wellness advice for FREE!

OttawaHealth.ca is facilitating a series of "HealthCalls" aimed to help Ottawa's population with their health and wellness. Starting on Wednesday September 5, 2007, OttawaHealth.ca will moderate weekly calls. Callers must call 613-686-6657 between 12:00pm (noon) and 1:00pm.

"Imagine sitting at home suffering with a ailment or condition that can be treated and prevented. Many Ottawa residents are not aware of their health and wellness, how to treat existing conditions or prevent future injuries. We are joining forces with OttawaHealh.ca to make a difference!" Says Kerri Holley who is a Registered Massage Therapist with Corporate Massage Therapy and a Resident Professional with OttawaHealth.ca.

Every week a different topic is stressed. The questions are moderated by OttawaHealth.ca and answered by Resident Professionals. The Resident Professionals are hand selected by OttawaHealth.ca and will interchange between Doctors of Chiropractic, Physiotherapists, Registered Massage Therapists and Certified Personal Trainers.

Callers will have a range of topics to choose from: motor vehicle accidents, whiplash, lower back injury, sports injuries, soft tissue injuries, sprains, strains, repetitive strain injuries such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome among many other common conditions such as fibromyalgia and others.
